The Struggle for Identity: A Personal Reflection
Abstract
The legacy of Margaret Thatcher lives on. She made us all look more deeply into ourselves and ask more fundamental questions about who we are and what we believe than anyone else at the time. Indeed, she faced me with a moment in my own life when the critical mass of experience and endeavour (the life I was living) was crying out for analysis and reflexion. It was a key time for my faith and my worldview. Thatcher's ideology and the abrasive way she imposed it on us continue to exercise my mind in all kinds of ways.
